Cambrieni, Camembert and Brie



Simonsberg Creamy Cambrieni, is a white rind cheese, unique to Simonsberg and South Africa. An unusual combination of Brie and Camembert, made from the finest Jersey milk. 


A delightful cheese, perfect for entertaining, deliciously creamy, rich, soft and smooth made by combining the subtleness of a Camembert with the delicate taste of classic Brie.


Great au natural or with fabulous toppings like caramelised nuts and strawberries or fresh watercress drizzled with pesto and toasted pine nuts.





Simonsberg Camembert & Brie


Made with the finest Jersey milk, Simonsberg Camembert and Simonsberg Brie are both white rind cheeses made in the fine French tradition. 


Camembert, matured and fully flavoured, is produced in small rounds. Try the exotic Madagascan Green Pepper. Brie, presented in the traditional wedges, or try the Grande Brie for entertaining.


Both these exquisite cheeses can be enjoyed quite simply with fresh fruit or used to flavour quiches, wrapped in phyllo, as well as enhancing a salad or, as the most delicious snack of all, on the crispest biscuits, topped with either cherry tomatoes and rocket or Parma ham.






Simonsberg Simonzola

    Hi, we just love your simonsberg black pepper feta cheese, but since your container has changed to a square. It is definately less salty and peppery, in which we love. I buy a container once a week and have bought from different shops, please look into this? as we miss the origianal simonsberg blackpepper feta cheese

    really sorry that your feta container changed shape-the top doesn’t fit as well as previously. just saw a previous comment and must agree that the taste doesn’t seem to be as good as before… so sad!

    I am diabetic and have 2 slices of toast every morning using Simonsberg low-fat Thai chillie cheese spread. Please can the containers revert to being round again. The “square” shape doesn’t allow one to scrape all the spread out.

    The new design of the fetta containers does not work well. It is harder to open and if you are luck you don’t spill. Please rethink the design or go back to the round containers.

    The new design of the fetta containers are unacceptable. For the second time having purchased the Fetta with black peppers I now have the second container turn over and spread the liquid all over my fridge. I also have a container of two and a half rounds with no liquid in. Sorry last time I will buy it. Do your marketing research before changing containers as these new ones belong in your disposal bin. I am a pensioner and cannot afford to just throw out a carton of fetta because the suppliers did not consult with their customers.

    SIMONZOLA, Firstly this cheese is excellent. But it is spoilt by the very thin plastic bag which it is packed in. Sometimes it is difficult to seperate it from the cheese, and is most unpleasant in ones mouth.
    Could you not find an alternative, metal foil perhaps. Apart from the plastic inner,the presentation is very good.

    Thank you so much for your comment received via the Showcook website. We really appreciate all comments received from consumers – this helps us to develop/modify our products in line with consumer preferences.

    Thank you for the positive comments regarding the cheese quality. With regards to the packaging, I am in total agreement with you that the cling wrap is not ideal for this product. We are in the process of developing new packaging for this product offering to optimise the functionality of Simonzola’s packaging. We are currently exploring various packaging options with our research and development team. As you can imagine these things always take a bit of time so this will most probably only materialise in the second half of 2013.
