THE LOW-CARB CREED
By Sally-Ann Creed
Sally-Ann Creed’s latest book, The Low-Carb Creed is indeed the indispensable guide to the Low-Carb healthy lifestyle. As she says this is not a diet but a way of life.
The Aubergine Stack is a delightful and colourful way to have breakfast or serve with salad for dinner or lunch. Tabouli is a perfect salad to make hours before you need it and the Chilli Relish is delicious with meat and vegetables.

"It is my hope that one day people will truly learn how to make food their medicine," says Sally-Ann Creed.
There seems to be a cancer pandemic now – never before have there been so many people with cancer on the globe. With the incidence of cancer rising, the World Cancer Research Fund International has results for up to 2012, the latest data available, and they state, “There were an estimated 14.1 million cancer cases around the world in 2012, of these 7.4 million cases were in men and 6.7 million in women. This number is expected to increase to 24 million by 2035.”
A sobering thought.

We are familiar with the egg story and now we need to familiarise ourselves with the world of carbs and how the tables have turned. Nutritional Therapist Sally-Ann Creed recently completed her co-operative venture with Professor Tim Noakes, entrepid traveller David Grier, the man with the vision for ‘Miles for Smiles’ who, together with the recipe developer Jonno Proudfoot, are the smoooth hands behind the book The Real Meal Revolution, which make this low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) diet way of eating a delight.
